Can a team that "owns the rights" to a minor league player call them up for a playoff series even if they did not call them up prior to week 10?
For example: Lampone plays 7 games in the minors. The Brewers get to the finals (ha) and they only have 2 available players. They want to call up Lampone, but they don't make this move until the finals. Is that allowed?

Yes. Any combination of seven (7) games at Cottage Lane in 2016 will qualify for the playoffs provided the team has rights to a player or players. There will be September call ups, you can call up players before Week 11 but don't need to play them. After that there will be no more waivers.
The Monday after the Finals all Minor Leaguers will go back to the Minors.
