How about you can have guys core three next year that have played together this season provided two are a pitcher and they have to have forfeit there #1 pick! I think this is best for business.

A player can no longer be released after a certain date and picked up by another team.

I want to get this written down before it's forgotten.
I have three rule adjustment suggestions to juice offense without changing the game's structure. The first taken from Fliesser:
1) With 2 outs, runners take an extra base.
Ex: With 2 outs, a single scores a runner from second and a double scores a runner from first.
2) Extra base line in front of wall.
A yard in front of the wall, for its whole length, a white line will turn an otherwise single into a double. This will force fielders to make more of an effort actually field the ball as well as punish those who can't catch pop-ups a bit more.
3) Bring back the triple line.
At FSK, there was a triple line in center where the two fences met. Let's put a yellow line back there, a yard from the fence, and any ball that passes through it becomes a triple.
Thoughts? We need to juice offense and punish bad fielding more. It'll also help prevent having so many games decided on total-bases.

Also , you shouldn't be able to drop a core 2 player.
As to the runner taking 2 bases, the fielder should then have an opportunity to "make a play" ie hit the strikezone to throw the runner out.

I don't like the extra base stuff because we are generally stupid people and will fuck that all up. I think the triples triangle in center should be back and if there is a way to make a 12 to 24 inch warning track, we would see more balls that should be doubles. A 112 foot flyball single to center is not right (equivalent of hitting the ball in the gap, over the fielder's head) and any ball that is hit 10 feet from the wall then dies because of the high grass before the fence should not be a single.

No, the fielding team doesn't get an opportunity to acquire an out, these ideas are meant to boost offense. "It hurts with two" should be put into full effect. The defense/pitching always has the advantage in wiffleball, this is a time for the offense to seize some back. Allowing the defense to have a caveat in return defeats the purpose.

I disagree Anthony, no one has fucked up the tag rule yet and we've had it for two seasons. An extra base with two outs is as simple a concept as it gets. Glad you agree about the triple line, though just one or two feet from the wall isn't very helpful. I think it should be two or three yards from the wall, but at least one. If you want to help eliminate elongated singles, we have to bring the lines out farther from the wall. Whether that's a double or a triple line.

We already moved the infield line in to boost offense, that worked. The pitching just keeps getting better. I certainly don't believe that the defense is at any advantage, there are 3 guys covering 8100 square feet. To hit the strike zone from behind the infield line is not easy, and should be in play to throw the guy out. We also added the tag up rule which no one utilizes to boost run output. Why not just eliminate pitching and use a tee if you want to boost offense so much. Also when you own a team you can vote on these things.

We already moved the infield line in to boost offense, that worked. Yes, you're right. However once again, less than half of all batters will have fewer than one hit per game this year. The pitching just keeps getting better. This supports me. I certainly don't believe that the defense is at any advantage, there are 3 guys covering 8100 square feet. The defense has the ball, only the pitcher knows where it's going. If two fielders weren't enough, offense wouldn't be an issue. How do you calculate this number? To hit the strike zone from behind the infield line is not easy, and should be in play to throw the guy out. One doesn't equal the other. Allowing the defense an opportunity to acquire an out is counter productive when trying to boost offense, which is what the point is. Also just because the offense is given an opportunity to take some advantage doesn't mean that the defense therefore deserves the chance to "balance the scale". The defense and pitching already holds the overall advantage. We also added the tag up rule which no one utilizes to boost run output. And we should keep it, it's gone under utilized because the overwhelming majority of outs are recorded via the strikeout. We also don't have many opportunities to score a run with an out in the first place. Why not just eliminate pitching and use a tee if you want to boost offense so much. Also when you own a team you can vote on these things. How is this a productive thing to say? And why would you say it at all? Here's an idea Jay, pick a personality. Either be the confident, though narrow, prick you are when hiding behind a screen in person. Or, you know, the opposite.

I have a legitimate idea that will boost offense and run production next season and here it is.....
This is my last season as a starting pitcher in the PWBL. BOOM!!!!! Run production just tripled with that one statement!

How am I hiding, everyone knows it's me typing. You say to pick a personality? I'm the same on and off the field everyone knows it. Own a team and you can vote on rule changes. I've owned a team 5 of the 6 years that it was possible to own a team, you on the other hand have tried every year to no avail. Guess I'm such a prick that people want to play with me.
