How am I hiding, everyone knows it's me typing. You say to pick a personality? I'm the same on and off the field everyone knows it. No you joke a lot at the field and are far less venomous in person. You don't tend to make as many strawman arguments either. I'd consider nearly jovial in person. The way you hide behind a screen is by being unnecessarily contentious here. Own a team and you can vote on rule changes. This is an example of what I mean. This is an unnecessary and undeserving inflammatory comment, and you're hiding behind a screen to do it. Whether or not someone owns a team is irrelevent to trying to improve the game. If this is truly what you think then you should say it to everyone but the other nine guys who own a team.I've owned a team 5 of the 6 years that it was possible to own a team, you on the other hand have tried every year to no avail. I wouldn't call it "trying." Though it would've been nice. I've had an iron in the fire each offseason and two chose to core up with someone else. They were upfront and respectful when they chose to go elsewhere and I supported their reasoning, agreeing that they were making the right choice. The other one chose not to join the League to play football instead. He has a lot of fun, and I support his decision as well.Guess I'm such a prick that people want to play with me. People like being paid to play. What can I say?

I have a legitimate idea that will boost offense and run production next season and here it is..... This is my last season as a starting pitcher in the PWBL. BOOM!!!!! Run production just tripled with that one statement! I think it'd be fun if you started doing everything left-handedly.

This is the only year I paid someone to play, and its simply because after Brett paid Ryan, it kind of became necessary to land Tim.

How is my point a straw man argument, I believe if the offence is going to take 2 on a single the Defense should have the opportunity to throw the man out. You then called me a prick. To everyone who has ideas on rule changes, they are 100% welcome, however you must be an owner to VOTE on proposed changes. Ironically for being such a prick, I don't call people names.

You just make overly contentious arguments that are poorly supported, and then cry foul at the end instead. I responded to your posts the way I did in an effort to help illustrate things. That's all I can do.

I responded to your posts the way I did in an effort to help illustrate things. That's all I can do. How is it poorly supported, in baseball when a runner tries to go from 1st to third on a single, the defense has an opportunity to throw the man out, why shouldn't we? Seems like a very logical rule to me. Just because you feel that offense needs bolstering doesn't mean it needs to be. I am all for more excitement in the game and a combination of your idea and mine will lead to more runs scored and the occasional soul crushing play that could change a game. Best of both worlds.

I certainly don't believe that the defense is at any advantage, there are 3 guys covering 8100 square feet.
The defense has the ball, only the pitcher knows where it's going. If two fielders weren't enough, offense wouldn't be an issue. How do you calculate this number?
Basically the field is approximately a 90' square, 90 x 90 = 8100

the tag rule should be when there is a runner on any base, not just third. also agree on the moving an extra base on a hit with 2 outs. A lot more runs would be scored this way and hopefully it would lead to less games won or lost on total bases.
