I've said it before and I'll say it again that if more guys would show up at the winter meetings and propose new rules the shit you post now won't mean shit till 2015. I think we had 6 or 7 guys at the 2013 winter meetings. Besides Brett and myself the only other guys that I see every year at the meetings are A-Bev...Anez...Jay...Trenary... Maniscalco. Thats basically 1/4 of the league.

the tag rule should be when there is a runner on any base, not just third. also agree on the moving an extra base on a hit with 2 outs. A lot more runs would be scored this way and hopefully it would lead to less games won or lost on total bases. This coming from the guy on the losing end of more total base finishes than any pitcher in history. Figures you'd want them eliminated! LMFAO!

LMFAO! hahah yeah but I also hate winning on total bases too. maybe another idea is having total bases after 6 only if the game is tied with runs. I just feel like a 0-0 game has to have at least 1 run scored

I propose, no more free base for getting hit in the face, it's too hard to determine where exactly a guy gets hit and it's always an argument, new proposal, if you get hit from the neck up, its 2 balls.

I agree with Jay. And there also shouldn't have been a distinction between getting hit in the cap (currently not a walk) and skin of face (currently a walk).

Head should be a walk.
Hit below the neck at all, it should be worth 2 balls.

Everyone will Schneider the plate if getting hit is worth 2 balls. there's no good reason to be getting hit with the ball in the first place. as for the schneider-ing, i don't think players can actively do that because we'll call it out which would negate any benefit to the batter for getting hit. also, the risk-reward of possibly getting hit by a pitch two or more times in a single at-bat is not enough to change anyone's batting style no matter what they say here on the boards. batters stand how and where they stand outta comfort, little else.

a hit by pitch shouldn't count for anything. In my opinion, it shouldn't even if youre hit in the head
